Ryan is a multidisciplinary designer and design director who has had 20 years of experience working in-house, freelance, and within an agency. His work encompasses: UX/UI design, product development, web development, motion graphics, video production, ad design, branding, campaign strategy, and traditional print and display design.
He is currently a member of the Science, Technology Assessment, and Analytics team of the U.S. Government Accountability Office, working to help give Congress information they need to make forward-thinking decisions related to science and technology. Previously, he has worked as the Design Director for Openbox9, Creative Director for Grace Community Church, software consultant/developer with Appian, and business management consultant with AECOM.
He studied Economics and Computer Science at the University of Virginia.

He enjoys design, solving problems creatively, and getting to know people. But more than that, he loves spending any time possible with his wife and two daughters.
